What Others Say

At Senior Home Care we look at the entire home health picture and the people whose lives are touched both directly and indirectly by the services we provide. Although our main focus is on meeting the needs of the patient and helping them along the road to recovery, we also consider how our actions provide peace of mind to their loved ones and the doctors who refer them.

Laura Dubois
A Patient

Our clinical staff worked closely with Ms. Dubois to help her manage her health care needs while she was under our care. She did not have any other family close by and became very attached to our caregivers, as we did to her.

The thing that made the difference to me was the sense of security my nurses brought. Knowing that people are coming; if I woke up feeling unwell I knew they would get there quickly and would know what to do! It’s not just about the physical but the mental therapy for me. I live alone so the personal contact and being able to talk to someone is important. "

Cheryl Drak
A Loved One

On the day Cheryl Drak’s husband sadly passed away, he asked her to thank the team of clinicians at Senior Home Care who had cared for him through that difficult time.

The clinical team was a great sounding board! The nursing and medical knowledge they brought was vital, but their willingness to listen, understand and talk through everything made my husband feel he was a person with dignity."

Dr. Benjamin Mena
MD Internal Medicine

Dr. Mena attended medical school at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras Facultad de Ciencias Medicas and graduated in 1996. He then advanced by completing an internship in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital.

One of Senior Home Care’s most appealing characteristics is that they look at the patient as a person and as an individual. They take the time and effort to engage with them, listen to them and treat them with the respect they deserve."
