Chief Executive Officer

  

As Chief Executive Officer since 2007, Robert Fusco leads with more than 25 years of experience in the alternate site health care services industry. With a clear strategic vision of growing the company to compete with health care companies twice its size, Fusco positions Senior Home Care for continued growth and expansion.

Fusco spent 15 years as President of Olsten Health Services, now Gentiva Health Services, the largest home health and specialty pharmaceutical distribution services company in North America. Fusco oversaw the Home Health, Healthcare Staffing, Specialty Pharmaceutical Distribution/Infusion Therapy and Network Management lines of business for Olsten. He was integral in the company’s acquisition of more than 20 companies throughout his tenure, as well. Under his leadership, Olsten grew from a regional health care company to a nationally-recognized leader in its field.

Fusco served as an independent consultant for private equity and merchant banking firms interested in investing in the healthcare services sector. During that time, he served as CEO for two regional providers of home medical equipment. He currently serves on the board of directors with three of the companies, all involved in the healthcare services or healthcare technology arena.

Fusco received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Manhattan College in New York.

Lynne Hebert, RN

Chief Operating Officer

  

Lynne Hebert serves as Chief Operating Officer. With more than 20 years of home health care experience, Hebert manages Senior Home Care’s day-to-day operations, including its agencies throughout Florida and Louisiana, a field staff of more than 1,500, branch support staff and all clinical and office operations. She manages more than 80% of the company’s total employees, who in turn, touch the lives of more than 50,000 seniors in need of home health care each year.

Since she started with Senior Home Care in 2001, Hebert’s leadership has helped the company achieve HomeCare Elite status, which is the highest ranking given to a home health care company in the United States. Senior Home Care has repeatedly been recognized in the Homecare Elite Top 100, Top 500 and Top 25 percent of all home health companies.

Hebert received a degree in nursing from South Arkansas University and also attended the College of St. Frances in Joliet, Illinios. Prior to joining Senior Home Care, she owned and operated “The Recovery Room,” a comprehensive outpatient rehab facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which provided physical, speech and occupational therapy in an outpatient setting. Simultaneously, Hebert managed the ASPEN Group, an independent consulting firm with a focus on the home health care industry. For 12 years before that, she served as Chief Operating Officer of the Home Care Division at Amedisys, Inc., a publicly-traded home care company.

Mitch Morel

 

Mitchel Morel

Chief Financial Officer

  

As Chief Financial Officer, Mitchel Morel is responsible for the company’s corporate financial and information technology functions.

Morel has nearly 25 years of experience in the home health care field. Prior to joining Senior Home Care, Morel served as chief financial officer of Synergy Healthcare Group, a home health provider in Louisiana which was purchased by Senior Home Care. At Synergy, Morel led the development of a new management program that improved clinical outcomes and decreased expenses, standardized agency operations, increased net income, and helped develop a strategic growth plan that grew revenue by 33%.

Prior to Synergy, Morel served 10 years as Chief Financial Officer of Amedisys, Inc., the largest public home health care company with operations throughout the United States. Morel was instrumental in driving revenue growth through de novo and acquisitions, and managing cash flow to bring the company from start-up to over $100 million in the span of 10 years, as well as bringing the company public. Morel also has experience in the management of outpatient rehabilitation facilities, outpatient surgery centers, behavioral health and other ancillary services.

Morel received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Louisiana State University. He’s a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a member of several national and state accounting associations.

Helene Roybal

Senior Vice President of Strategic Development

  

As Senior Vice President of Strategic Development, Helene Roybal brings 29 years of strategic leadership and experience in health care, with emphasis on managed care.

Roybal was most recently President of Univita’s Integrated Home Care Division, a provider of Home Health Care, Infusion Pharmacy, and durable medical equipment (DME) services. Prior to that, she was with United Health Group for eight years, and held a variety of executive positions with them, including Chief Administrative Officer of Ovations - Public Sector Division, and President of United Behavioral - Health Plan Division.

Roybal has extensive managed care expertise across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and Commercial lines, with specialty experience in home care and behavioral health.

Roybal has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida and an MBA from the University of Louisville.

At Senior Home Care, she focuses on developing new business channels, building partnerships in managed care and exploring new opportunities for home health care.

Jan Barr

Vice President of Human Resources

  

Jan Barr serves as Vice President of Human Resources. Barr’s more than 20 years in the Human Resource industry has equipped her with extensive experience in designing and implementing strategic Human Resources direction in a variety of industries.

Barr is a strategic leader with expertise in acquisitions and divestitures, compensation and benefits, HRIS integration and automation, as well as employee development and retention. She most recently served as Senior Vice President of HearUSA, a recognized leader in hearing care for the nation’s top managed care organizations.

Prior to HearUSA, Barr served three years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Catalina Marketing, a global behavior-based marketing company, where she established an organization-wide culture focused on balancing the needs of business with the needs of more than 1,200 employees.

In addition, she has extensive experience in the food and hospitality industry. She served 13 years as Vice President of Human Resources at Brinker International: Chili’s Grill & Bar. During her tenure, Barr effectively decentralized Human Resources function and built teams of experts focused on the business needs of the Chili’s brand, which resulted in engaged and motivated restaurant managers. Barr also spent six years as Director of Training under Metromedia Restaurant Group where she executed training for all aspects of restaurant operations as well as developed training for new concepts.

Barr received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

 

 

 

Melissa A. Mora, Esq.

Vice President of Legal Affairs and Compliance

   

Melissa Mora, Esq., Vice President of Legal Affairs, joined Senior Home Care with a background in the health care field.

Prior to joining the company, she successfully represented many health care providers, including home health agencies, physicians, nurses, medical companies and drug wholesale companies. Mora has extensive experience in research relating to health care regulations, including HIPAA, False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute and Starke Laws.

Mora was previously with the law firm, Allen Dell, P.A. in Tampa, Fla. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida and her juris doctorate from Stetson Law School in Gulfport, Fla. Mora is a member of The Florida Bar.

Mora brings strength to Senior Home Care, helping the company navigate the ever-changing regulatory and reimbursement environment.
